英文老师提出了“Try to do”与“Try doing”的用法差异,前者通常用于极为困难的事物,而后者虽不困难但结果未知。学会使用这两个句型,也能帮助你分辨这项挑战的困难与否!
1. Try to + Verb
花费极大心力去尝试极为困难,即使我们尽全力也可能失败的事情。
(1) Maria tried to climb Mt. Everest. Maria尝试攀登圣母峰。
(2) I tried to watch Paranormal Activity, but it was too scary! 我试着要看鬼影实录,但这部电影太可怕了!
(3) Deepak tried to study, but he was too tired. Deepak试着要用功念书,但它太累了。
2. try + Ving
去做你之前从未尝试过的事情,虽然并不困难,但你不知道将会发生什么事。
(1) Try adding salt to your potatoes. 试着加点盐在你的马铃薯上。
