一、兴趣
很多英语成绩不好的孩子,都对英语不感兴趣。在这些孩子的眼中,英语是一门由26个字母组成的枯燥乏味的课程,一旦有这种想法,就很难将英语学好了。我们家长在教孩子英语时要注意培养他们兴趣。家长可以带孩子看一些英语小短片,学习一些英语歌曲,这些都会让孩子对英语多一些兴趣。千万不要严厉的训斥孩子,那样只会让孩子对英语更加厌恶,会使孩子的英语成绩更差。
二、沟通
沟通能让家长更好的了解孩子的学习状况。只有轻松地交谈才能让孩子敞开心扉,说出内心的想法,而我们只有在了解了孩子真实的想法后才能对症下药,解决孩子的问题。当养成沟通的良好习惯后,孩子就会主动把在英语学习中遇到的难题告诉家长,形成一个良性循环。
三、鼓励
小学生由于年龄较小,是很需要家长的鼓励的。我们可以和孩子商量,制定学习计划。比如说当孩子的英语成绩提高到多少时,就给孩子买一件他非常喜欢的东西。孩子在受到鼓励后会更有学习的动力。几次后,可以让孩子自己制学习目标和奖励,久而久之养成自己制定目标的好习惯。
四、耐心
英语这一学科需要大量的记忆,是比较枯燥的。在我们教孩子学习英语的过程中,很可能会出现教学了好几遍孩子还学不会的情况,这时一定要有耐心,尝试换一种方法,从不同的角度来教。如果表现出不耐烦的话,孩子的积极性和自尊心都会受到伤害,会对孩子的成长造成影响。
