Have you ever wanted a day to do whatever you want? Children’s Day, on June 1st, is a day when you can do just that!

六一儿童节这一天，一家人会在一起度过时光并让孩子决定他们要做的事情。家长和外公外婆可能会给孩子小礼物盒卡片。一家人经常会一起做些有趣的事情来一起庆祝，比如去动物园，参观博物馆，玩游戏，游览公园，去海边或者只是在家里一起玩。孩子们还可以决定他们想吃什么食物。

On Children’s Day families spend time together and often let the children decide what they all do. Parents and grandparents might also give children small gifts and cards. Families often celebrate by doing something fun together, like going to the zoo, visiting a museum, playing games, visiting a park, going to the beach or just playing together at home. Children can decide what food they want to eat too!

How to celebrate 

在儿童节之前和爸爸妈妈一起商量下你的六一儿童节计划吧。想一件你想和家人一起做的特别的事情，比如参观博物馆和动物园。告诉你父母你想做的事情这样他们就能帮助你一起计划。提醒你的家人你最爱的食物这样就能吃想吃的东西了。你的家人会和你一起庆祝儿童节因为他们爱你，所以不要忘记感谢他们哦。

Talk to your parents before Children’s Day to discuss your Children’s Day plans. Think about a special thing you want to do with your family, like visiting a museum or the zoo. Tell your parents what you’d like to do so they can help plan the day. Remind your family of your favorite food too so you can eat what you want. Your family wants to celebrate Children’s Day because they love you, so don’t forget to thank them.
