形容词的排序，大概是全世界孩子心！中！的！痛！

为了让大家彻底摆脱这种痛苦，百科给大家一个口诀：OPSHACOM。

 
这是英国广播公司（BBC）英语教学节目”Professor Grammar”中提出的方法，它其实是一个缩写词，具体含义如下图：

 
1.OP-opinion，评述性词，表达说话者的观点或评价，如beautiful, boring, stupid, delicious, useful, lovely, comfortable（美丽的，无聊的，愚蠢的，美味的，有用的，可爱的，舒服的）等

2.S-size，告诉大家物体的大小，如big, small, tall, huge, tiny（大的，小的，高的，巨大的，极小的）等。

3.H-shape，描述物体形状的词，还包括Weight（重量） / Length（长度），如round, square, fat, heavy, straight, long, short（圆的，正方形的，胖的，重的，直的，长的，短的）…

4.A-age，描述物体新旧、年龄的形容词，如old, young, new, ancient, antique（老的，年轻的，新的，古老的，年代久远的）…

5.C-color，表颜色的词，如blue, red, pink（蓝的，红的，粉的）等。

6.O-origin，表产地、国籍的词，如Dutch, American, British, Italian, eastern（荷兰的，美国的，英国的，意大利的，东部的）等。

7.M-material，向人展示物体的材料的形容词，如gold, wooden, silk, paper, synthetic, cotton, wool（金的，木头的，丝绸的，纸质的，合成的，棉的，羊毛的）等。
 
*注意：国外有些老师，还会加一项Purpose/Use，表示作用目的，这些词通常以-ing结尾，紧跟着被修饰的名词，如sleeping (bag), gardening (gloves), shopping (bag), wedding (dress)（睡袋，园艺手套，购物袋，婚纱）…

好啦，让我们看两个例句：

It was made of a strange1, green5, metallic7 material.（它是由一种奇怪的绿色金属材料制成的。）

Panettone is a round3, Italian6 Christmas cake.（Panettone是一种圆形的意大利圣诞蛋糕。）

*形容词右下角数字对应OPSHACOM顺序。

再举两个超长的例子，不过大家放心，一般情况下一个名词前不会超过5个形容词。

She was a beautiful1, tall2, thin3, young4, black-haired5, Scottish6 woman.（她是一个年轻美丽的，高瘦的，黑头发的苏格兰女人。）

What an amazing1, little2, old4, Chinese6 cup and saucer!（多么令人惊异的，中国古老的小茶杯和茶托！）
